film to show our TARGET audience research:
Conclusion from Our AUDIENCE research:
In conclusion from our audience research we found that older females would not be the right audience for our opening horror title sequence because they did not like horrors and especially dislike paranormal horrors, they found them to scary and didn't like being left scared and they found it left them imagining something was in the garden, house etc. They did not like paranormal horrors because they didn't like watching things they did not fully understand about. We also found that 18+ males would not be our audience either because they didnt like paranormal horrors they found them unrealistic they preferred to watch horrors that had killing and horrors which involved lots of gore in. We also found from our audience research that the right target audience for our opening horror title sequence would be girls because they found paranormal horror films not as scary as other horrors because they also liked paranormal horrors because they rarely have any gore and they disliked gore. We also found that the younger teenage (15+) boys would also be our target audience because they found paranormal horror movies exciting to watch.
Our main target audience is 16-25 female teenagers.
